Driving on I-65 today from KY to IN should i?

Ok so i was planning on going to Marion IN to visit my family today. I live Just south of Louisville. I know the roads are fine here and my papaw said they are fine north of indy but i don't know whatr I-65 is like between here and there. Any advise? I stay on 65 till i get to indy so i just need to know what its like from north of louisville to indy.
