Leaving the Delayed Entry Program?
I requested to my recruiter that I be released from the Navy Delayed Entry Program. How will I know when I am no longer in DEP? I already told him that I do not want to join the Navy and that I will not be going back to his office for any more "meetings". Do I need to sign anything to get out of DEP or do they do everything? Also, I only told them over the phone and since after I straight out told him that I will not be going back to the office for anything else I have not heard from him since then. Does that mean he probably dropped me out of it or what? Also is a letter to the commanding officer absolutely required in this process?
