What are your ideas on the fate of the Ark Of The Covenant?

I know the Babylonians sacked Jerusalem after Jeremiah's prophecy, and the Ark dissapeared from Biblical pages. What then, do you believe happened to it? I watched "Quest For the Lost Ark" on National Geographic. The guy did a pretty thorough job. But still, maybe he missed something. What do you think? Does the Hebrew Bible say anything else? I haven't read it. I believe it will be revealed when Jesus returns. Christians and Jews only please. Thanks!
