Christians, have you tried to put this in perspective?

The difference is that Christianity doesn't have any messianic prophecies. Christianity considers itself the fulfillment of messianic prophecy. And rightfully so, because the messianic predictions are quite clear. As for the second coming, it is not considered to be something rather subtle. You tend to notice these things.
