How can I snowboard in summer?

Can I build/buy some kind of material fairly cheap, that I can lay out on a a hill that a snowboard would slide across effectively. I looked into snowflex and that is too pricey and difficult. Even if i'm unable to carve, just something that would get me down the hill and off a kicker!
